Shinjuku Station        

The western side of Shinjuku features a cluster of tall buildings, while the eastern side boasts a bustling downtown area and famous department stores, along with the tranquil Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, providing a popular place of relaxation. With a daily train ridership of 3.5 million people, it holds the world record for the busiest train station. It is also well-connected by road, making it a vibrant area akin to Shibuya. There are also nostalgic old drinking alleys reminiscent of Showa era like “Omoide Yokocho” and “Shinjuku Golden Gai” which remain popular. Shibuya Station

It is also a lively city represented by the famous Scramble Crossing. The city is currently undergoing a transformation that occurs once in a century through redevelopment. Omote Sando Station

Shinagawa Station

This station serves as a stop on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen line, offering excellent access to destinations including Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka and Western Japan. Narita Airport and Haneda Airport are also easily accessible from Shinagawa Station. This makes it one of the most convenient stations for those traveling both domestically and internationally. It will be the starting station when the maglev train, Linear Chuo Shinkansen, starts operating in near future. On the west side of the station, you’ll find hotels, an aquarium, movie theaters, a bowling alley, and other entertainment options. Ebisu Station

This is a popular neighborhood situated between Shibuya, Meguro, and Daikanyama. You’ll find a wide variety of restaurants, making it a city known for its diverse culinary scene. Top dim sum, Din Tai Fung and Jin Din Rou are both located at Ebisu Station. There is an area called Ebisu Garden Place with offices, restaurants, museum and nearby hotels. Daikanyama Station

Located along the Tokyu Toyoko Line and surrounded by Ebisu, Shibuya, and Nakameguro, this station is in a charming neighborhood filled with an urbane atmosphere. It has landmarks such as Daikanyama Address, Hillside Terrace, and Tsutaya Bookstore that are at Kyu-Yamanote-dori. Meguro Station

It was once famous for falconry under the Tokugawa shogunate. The topography is characterized by differences in elevations, with the east exit leading to places like Hanabusa Hill and Shirokane-dai, that are both premium addresses with the west exit leading to areas along Meguro-dori such as Shimo-Meguro, Himonya, Takaban and Ohkayama. Additionally, there is a Mita area towards Ebisu (different place in Minato Ward’s Mita), all of which consist of serene residential neighborhoods. In spring, the cherry blossom viewing along the Meguro River is quite popular. Nakameguro Station

Next station after Ebisu and one stop from Daikanyama, it intersects the Meguro River, which is famous for its cherry blossoms, and there are many restaurants and fashionable shops along Yamanote-dori, on the quieter side of streets, and under the elevated Tokyu Line. Upscale tower apartments are also visible here. Nakameguro is popular for its combination of glamour and convenience. Sangenjaya Station

Located just two stops from Shibuya on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line(or one stop on the express train), this is also the starting station of the Tokyu Setagaya Line, a light rail. Bus services and Shuto Expressway ramps are also nearby, making transportation convenient. It’s a diverse neighborhood that combines the charm of an old atmosphere with the latest trends. Shimokitazawa Station

Known as ”Shimokita”, this station has access to two lines, Keio Inokashira Line and the Odakyu Line. This neighborhood is known for its vibrant mix of theaters, live music venues, vintage clothing stores, miscellaneous shops, jazz cafes, and trendy cafes, making it a lively and eclectic place. Jiyugaoka Station

This is a station where you can access two Tokyu railway lines. Its name originates from a nearby school. Futakotamagawa Station

This station is served by two Tokyu railway lines and is located in Setagaya Ward. It borders Kanagawa Prefecture across the Tama River. Surrounded by nature, the nearby area features parks and leisure facilities, making it an excellent place for outdoor activities and strolls. In the past, there was an amusement park here, but it has since been redeveloped into Futakotamagawa Rise, which now houses office buildings such as head office of Rakuten, hotel and a shopping district. Tamagawa Takashimaya is a department store that has been popular for a long time.
