This blog introduces premium residential addresses in Tokyo, with a primary focus on areas such as Minato, Shibuya, Meguro, and Setagaya wards.
In the early 1990s, there was a period when land prices at the Imperial Palace were said to be same as land prices in all of California. However, following the burst of the economic bubble and the subsequent stagnation of the Japanese economy, land prices decreased. Additionally, the exchange rate, with the yen’s depreciation of 140 yen to the US dollar, made Japanese real estate more accessible for purchase.
Let’s explore the ideal living environment in Tokyo.
This blog is operated by me, a Taiwanese, and my Japanese husband. In fact, we moved to Japan from California and have been living in two different apartment and condo in Tokyo. Additionally, there is a history of my husband selling a property he owned. Taking such experiences into account, we would like to write about premium living locations often in central, southern and western Tokyo. We hope that people outside Japan will consider living in Tokyo as a great experience and realize that now is a good time to do so. Thank you for reading.
